Come join the fun at our Preschool Learning Festival!

  • Where: Lifelong Learning Institute, 11 Eunos Rd 8, Singapore 408601, Exhibition Hall 1 & 2, Level 1

Activity Zone: Project Forti’tude (Reggio Booth Activities)
​Invitation to Photograph

Bring your young children to explore the world of photography in a fun and interactive way! They'll learn about different materials and camera optics, and how to use them to create their own unique photos. They'll also have the chance to experiment with different techniques and subjects, and learn about the history of photography. This is a great way for kids to develop their creativity and imagination, and learn about the world around them.

​In a Blink of Light

Simple explorations of light can lead to more complex ones. Children can begin to realise that light can change and create shadows by using loose parts materials. This provides them with interesting and inspiring opportunities to explore light.

Secrets of Paper

In this activity, your child will learn about the many different properties of paper. Through hands-on activities, your child will learn about how paper is made, how it can be manipulated, and how it can be used to create art and design.

Secrets of Paper is a great way for your child to learn about science, art, and design. It is also a fun and engaging way for them to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills.

EdilGarden

For a sensorial and educational experience, visit the EdilGarden! Your child can use their five senses to explore flowers, fruit, leaves, seeds, and dirt. They'll learn about the different sizes, textures, and shapes of plants, and they'll also learn about responsibility as they help to grow the plants. Plus, they'll get to taste the fruits of their labour (literally!) as they enjoy the fresh, healthy food that they've grown. It's a win-win for everyone!

If you wish to introduce plants, waste minimisation and dengue prevention to your child, visit this booth! Your child can plant seeds in recycled bottles and take home their own plant pot. This is a fun and educational way to teach them about upcycling and the importance of plants

Does your preschooler love music? It's no surprise! Music is a fun and engaging way for young children to learn and grow. Visit this booth to learn how music can help your child develop their cognitive, emotional, social, and creative skills. We'll also have some fun activities for your child to enjoy.

Your preschooler will love expressing their feelings through art in our Creative Arts booth! Our experienced teachers will guide them as they create masterpieces using a variety of materials. They'll take home their finished pieces too!

Speech & Drama

Check out the Speech & Drama booth! Your child can engage in speech and drama activities using the costumes, props, and puppets provided. A video of our children engaged in Speech & Drama activities will be playing on loop to inspire them. Let them be imaginative and expand their communication skills.

This workshop is for early childhood professionals and will focus on developing educators' skills in planning and implementing effective motor skills development into daily activities and lessons in preschool. Through group discussions, brainstorming sessions, and resources and examples, participants will share strategies and ideas for creating engaging and exciting learning opportunities for the children in their care.
